Our diving program for the Azores offers a spectacular combination of variety, beauty and excitement. With dive sites ranging from caves and arches, volcanic drop-offs and wall dives to colourful reefs, wrecks and shore diving, there will undoubtedly be something to suit the most discerning experienced diver or the intrigued novice. Fish life is abundant in these sub-tropical waters, attracting ParrotFish, Groupers, Sting and Eagle Rays, Moray and Conger Eels, Barracudas, Amberjacks, Turtles and Dolphins. The odd visit from Sharks and Manta Rays certainly brings added excitement and enjoyment to this magnificent underwater world. The Diving Centre is professionally staffed and fully equipped even for divers without equipment. With 2 BAUER Compressors, an Air Bank and 2 customised Dive Boats, most groups and individuals can be catered for. To maintain safety, dives are limited to 40 metres and a maximum group size of 6. Should an emergency arise the staff is medically trained and there is a Decompression Chamber in the Island. For anybody new or a little rusty to the sport there is a swimming pool to learn or refresh skills and for any additional training that may be required. Prior to diving, certification and logbooks are checked and waivers signed. All dives include:
